Garbage and Recycling Schedule
Red Oak Sanitation
Harbour Point contracts with Red Oak Sanitation for weekly curbside garbage pickup. Rolling cans should be placed at the end of each driveway on Thursday evenings for early Friday pickup. Cans should be returned to storage as soon as possible after pickup.
On alternate weeks Red Oak provides curbside recycling pickup, and the pink lid recycling can should be placed alongside the garbage can.
Red Oak offers a calendar to note weeks that are for recycling. Red Oak offers the option of bulk item removal for a fee. Bulk items must be called in and scheduled for pickup at 678-455-7819. Items not called in will be left at the curb. Please use discretion as some bulk items may need to be broken down, or may not be considered bulk items. Call client services for rates and availability. Some bulk items such as white goods and appliances can be recycled. Red Oak is unable to accept refrigerators, and other such larger items, so please consider using our affiliate listed for removal of these items. A bulk item is non-household waste that does not fit into the supplied trash container. E.g. bikes, furniture, appliances that do not contain Freon or any other gasses, mattresses, box springs, grills, rugs, etc. This does not include construction debris, or items from remodels.
Red Oak observes 6 holidays per year, and garbage service is delayed by 1 day during the weeks in which the holiday falls on Monday - Friday. On those weeks Harbour Point pickup will occur on Saturday instead of Friday. If a holiday occurs on Sunday, there is no change to garbage service (as in Christmas 2022 and New Year's Day 2023).
